Here's what you can expect from the application process

Technical Assessment

We believe that the best way for someone to improve is through honest feedback. We'll ask you to provide a code sample and our crafters will review it and share their feedback with you. We'll also ask you to review a small bit of code so we can better understand how you think about code.


Interviews are a two-way street. You'll meet with Crafters and members of the Leadership Team at 8th Light so we can see if we're the right fit for each other.

Pair Programming

No assessment tool is better than doing the actual work. We'll write code together, discuss potential approaches, and learn from each other. This will help us understand how you think, solve problems, and work with our team.
