Taking the travel-planning process someplace new.
Frustrated by the inefficient processes she knew were holding the travel industry back, Julia Douglas came to us with questions in search of answers. She saw an opportunity to put smart technologies to work simplifying and automating tedious and time-consuming processes, and she needed a design and development partner to help her execute on her vision.
While the world has gone digital, the travel industry that seeks to explore the world was still primarily paper-based and cumbersome.
My goal was to have one application that would be all you need for your travel plans. I think we’ve achieved that.

An industry first.
AXUS — the travel industry’s first truly digital full-service solution — is a platform designed to incorporate the myriad complexities involved in planning every aspect of a vacation into a single application. Beyond integrations with hotels, restaurants, maps, event companies, and more, the system also pioneered integrations with legacy systems in the airline industry, ultimately transforming the way travel professionals meet customer needs, no matter where they are. The AXUS app has since been white-labeled for a number of additional agencies, a testament to its ability to deliver a comprehensive suite of highly-effective functionality via both iOS and android apps. An industry first.
We also crafted our partner’s comprehensive brand identity.
We developed the industry’s first full-service solution that is truly digital, connecting travel agents and travelers with a modern platform that includes web and native mobile apps.
The underlying technology has spread throughout the travel industry, as we’ve white-labeled the app for a number of additional agencies.
End-to-end design and development.
Heavily involved in all aspects of the project from the outset, we worked to design and develop all AXUS brand and marketing assets, and to condense and combine extensive desired functionality into a series of intuitive interfaces. After only 18 months, the product we helped Julia imagine, create, and bring to market enabled the streamlining of the entire professional travel planning experience.
