Harness your agents.
Share your name, work email, and organization. We reply to set up a 45-minute alignment session covering who should be in the room, what to expect, and a date. There is nothing to prepare before that call.
What is the goal?
The goal is a practical one: find the next improvements worth making and turn them into a roadmap your team can execute.
The workshop is a half-day working session that helps your team reduce friction in AI-assisted software delivery. We start with the tools, skills, instructions, checks, and review practices you use today, then identify where repeated human effort can be standardized, automated, or safely delegated.
The workshop uses PAAA: Purpose, Articles, Actors, and Artifacts to frame the work:
Purpose: What are we trying to achieve?
Articles: What standards and constraints must remain true?
Actors: Who or what does the work, and with what authority?
Artifacts: What instructions, plans, code, evidence, and knowledge carry the work forward?
What do we do and what do you get?
During the half-day harness engineering workshop, we will:
Map a core development workflow and identify friction, repeated instructions, handoffs, rework, and review bottlenecks.
Identify opportunities to standardize instructions, create reusable skills, connect tools, automate checks, or safely remove manual steps.
Work through how those changes should be verified, bounded, maintained, and improved over time.
Prioritize the opportunities into a practical sequence of next steps.
Deliverable: A prioritized harness engineering roadmap with recommended improvements, ownership, safeguards, and success measures.
Who needs to be there?
From 8th Light
Harness engineering practitioners and delivery experts who can help identify opportunities, challenge assumptions, and shape the roadmap.
From your team
People who understand the day-to-day development workflow, own delivery or product outcomes, and can make decisions about quality, tooling, and process. Titles are less important than having the right perspectives in the room.
What does it cost?
While the cost varies based on complexity and travel logistics, our half-day harness engineering workshops range from $3,000 - $5,000 USD. This covers time, materials, work product delivered, and any tooling we leave behind that you continue to use in your journey with autonomous solutions.
How do I get started?
Share your name, work email, and organization. We will follow up to align on the workshop focus, participants, and timing. Bring a core development workflow and a friction point you would like to improve. No detailed project brief is required.
