For more than 30 years, David has helped business leaders transform their companies to achieve their desired business outcomes. This experience greatly influences his sales philosophy as he leads sales teams.

"Sales is not convincing someone to buy something. Sales is helping a business leader define the outcome they want to achieve, objectively look at what must be done to achieve the outcome, and then determine if or how we can help them be successful."

David has helped hundreds of companies, from Fortune 500 through startups, achieve their business outcomes through the innovative use of technology. As a sales leader, David aligns go-to-market strategy, sales execution and sales operation with a company’s overall strategy to achieve the desired growth goals. He also trains and coaches salespersons to improve the effectiveness of how they engage with prospects and clients.

Before joining 8th Light, held sales and delivery leadership roles at Point B, CSC Consulting, Wilson Learning, and General Mills. David has served on the boards of several nonprofit and community organizations. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University.
