Rani Zilpelwar is an Engagement Manager at 8th Light with more than a decade of building software and guiding the teams that ship quality solutions. She spent several years as an Engineering Manager for a global ticketing platform, leading teams through high-concurrency global on-sales and large-scale modernization. Today she leads delivery for a cross-platform SDK team, where she built a review gate that catches faulty assumptions during the requirements phase, when they are cheapest to fix. A former QA manager, she writes about the practices that make AI-assisted engineering trustworthy: adversarial verification across independent passes, prompts framed to verify rather than confirm, and test cases as the ground truth AI output is measured against. Rani is a Beacon Award recipient.
