Serving as a Technical Director for 8th Light's AI Studio, Travis Frisinger leads high-impact engineering efforts focused on building real-world AI products. With a background in distributed systems, software architecture, and artificial intelligence, he helps organizations turn technical challenges into scalable, maintainable solutions.

Throughout his career, Travis has optimized performance at the system level, and led teams across a range of industries. He’s especially focused on making AI practical — integrating it into workflows, strengthening governance, and balancing innovation with reliability.

He works directly with clients and engineers to define strategy, ship code, and push boundaries where it counts. Travis also writes and speaks regularly about AI, software engineering, and the future of human–machine collaboration.
