Built In today announced that 8th Light was honored in its 2022 Best Places To Work Awards, totalling five designations. The annual awards program includes companies of all sizes, from startups to those in the enterprise, and honors both remote-first employers as well as companies in the eight largest tech markets across the US. Specifically, we earned a place on:
- Chicago Best Midsize Companies to Work For
- Austin Best Midsize Companies to Work For
- LA Best Midsize Companies to Work For
- Austin Best Benefits
- LA Best Benefits
“It’s a true testament to our team’s ability to support each other through change,” says Paul Pagel, co-CEO. “I’m proud of what we’ve built together and for being among the other companies and firms on the list.”
Built In determines the winners of Best Places to Work based on an algorithm, using company data about compensation, benefits, and companywide programming. To reflect the benefits candidates are searching for more frequently on Built In, the program also weighs criteria like remote and flexible work opportunities, programs for DEI and other people-first cultural offerings.
“To be recognized by Built In affirms what we’ve been doing,” says Jenny Farver, co-CEO. “Our commitment to living our values — humanity, education and ownership — has never changed, however, we continue to recommit ourselves to what our team needs, our business goals and who we want to be as a company.”
Congrats goes to the entire 8th Light team for this recognition.
