As many of our teams have moved to working fully remotely, we are looking for ways to fill in the learning content and community connections we’re used to in our meetups and conferences. 8th Light is launching one new way to do that: 8LU Livestreams.
8LU Livestreams are virtual extensions of 8th Light University’s established in-person meetups. Every month, we will host free remote events exploring a different aspect of software engineering, from tech frameworks to testing strategies, design accessibility to communication skills. Our own Crafters will share the topics they’re most excited about and give insight into how 8th Light solves software problems.
Join us on Friday, April 10 at 12:30pm CDT for our first Livestream, “No One Told You Remote Life Would Be This Way,” which will take on a subject many of us are interested in exploring right now: tips and tricks on effective remote work.
Education and community are core values of 8th Light, and even though we might all be in separate locations, we will still find ways to come together to learn from each other and help each other grow.
Register for the first Livestream, "No One Told You Remote Life Would Be This Way," here.
